DERRY, Pa. (AP) State police are searching for a man who escaped from a state mental hospital in Westmoreland County.
Police say 40-year-old Raymond Simeroth was last seen getting into a vehicle with a man and a woman on the grounds of Torrance State Hospital in Derry Township around 9:45 a.m. Saturday.
Simeroth is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 178 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a goatee and was last seen wearing white pants, a short-sleeved T-shirt, a red-and-white baseball cap and white tennis shoes.
Authorities gave no information about Simeroth’s commitment at the facility.
